Independent Living Programs

Male Apartment Program (MAP)

The Male apartment program is a less restrictive and structured environment designed to assist clients in developing the independent life skills necessary for long-term recovery. Once a client completes the main program and if they meet the criteria, their primary counselor can recommend a MAP placement. Placement often depends on the client's progress along with availability.

The MAP program consists of four individual properties with fourteen beds, and an eight- unit complex with individual studio apartments for a total of twenty-two beds. They are allowed up to one year of continuous treatment to assist them in their transition back into the community alcohol and drug free.

The treatment focus is more towards developing the independent life skills required for long-term recovery. Their primary counselor works with the client to develop an aftercare plan to assist in the transition to MAP, once there, the client case is transferred to another counselor who continues to work with the client on an individual basis. Our priority in the MAP program is to help the client become self-reliant and independent from the counseling process.

IMAP

IMAP was created to accommodate out of county residents seeking service for chemical dependency. It is a six bed setting in two individual properties adjacent to the main program. Clients are contracted on an individual basis and are expected to follow the same structure of the main house. This includes: checking in, medication monitoring, curfew and groups. It provides independence and yet keeps the client in a more intensive treatment setting. After clinical evaluation, clients may transfer to the MAP program if appropriate.

Women's Transitional Living Program

Is currently a four-bed apartment complex similar in structure and philosophy as the Men's Program but The criteria for residency remains the same, but with a gender specific treatment focus. We encourage the same independence with individualized treatment planning sensitive to special needs, which include women with children.
